Authorship Criteria & Policy for Monographs
To ensure academic integrity, transparency, and fair attribution of scholarly work, the following authorship criteria apply to all monograph submissions:
1. Single-Author Monograph

Monographs with a total length of 2,500 to 5,000 words are permitted only one (1) author.

Contributions from other individuals (e.g., technical support, proofreading, data assistance) must be recognized only in the Acknowledgements section.

Co-authorship is not permitted for monographs within this word range.
2. Multi-Author Monograph Chapters

Individual monograph chapters with a length of more than 5,000 words and up to 10,000 words may include a maximum of two (2) authors.

Each listed author must have made a substantial intellectual contribution to the conception, analysis, writing, or critical revision of the chapter.

All authors must approve the final submitted version.
3. Compiled Monograph (Edited Book Format)

A compilation of individual monograph chapters into one complete monograph/book is permitted under the following conditions:

Total word count must be approximately 15,000 words.

A maximum of eight (8) authors may be accommodated.

The compilation must be thematically coherent and academically integrated.

An editor or coordinating author must be clearly identified.

Compilation and publication charges: PKR 80,000
(This includes editorial processing, formatting, and digital publication.)
4. Gift Authorship Policy

Gift, guest, or honorary authorship is strictly prohibited.

Authorship must not be based on seniority, position, institutional affiliation, or personal relationships.

Any individual who has not made a substantial scholarly contribution must be acknowledged rather than listed as an author.
5. Acknowledgements

Individuals contributing through language editing, data collection, technical assistance, funding support, or supervision without substantial intellectual input must be acknowledged in the Acknowledgements section.

Acknowledgements do not confer authorship rights.
6. Author Responsibility & Declaration

All authors must:

Accept responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the work.

Declare their individual contributions if requested.

Confirm compliance with plagiarism, AI usage, and ethical policies.

The publisher reserves the right to revise authorship, request clarification, or reject submissions that violate this policy.
7. Policy Enforcement

Any violation of authorship criteria discovered before or after publication may result in:

Rejection of the manuscript

Retraction of the published monograph

Notification to relevant institutions, where appropriate
